This method is indicated for the simultaneous learning of rhythm, notation and the exercise of zapateado flamenco. It is a proposal supported by a doctoral thesis on the subject that I defended in 2011 at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid. The integral publication of the method consists of a total of five volumes whose rhythmic difficulty is progressively sequenced. With the practice of these books, the student will be able to acquire a true knowledge of the reading of the musical rhythm and the notation of the zapateado.

The first method has a CD with accompanying music of the fourteen flamenco styles, played with guitar and accompaniment of palms, as a musical basis, to perform the zapateado exercises. The exercises of the other books in the collection will be practiced using this same CD.

Each one of the exercises of the method has indicated the tracks of the corresponding CD with audios at different speeds. This implies that these speeds do not always adjust to the normal time of the club, however, it is essential to use slow times for the initiation of learning. In this sense, in the exercises proposed with several speeds, it will be necessary to study with the slow time and not to pass to the fast time until having finished all the exercises of each method. In later stages of learning you can progressively increase your speed.
