El Follet Valent is a children's cantata that was premiered with great success in 1999 at the Palau de la Música Catalana, on the occasion of the celebration of the 20th birthday of the "Juguem cantant" of the Secretariat of Children's Choirs of Catalonia (SCIC). It has been one of the most performed cantatas, not only by SCIC choirs, but also in primary schools, music schools and theatres all over Catalonia.
