This book contains a selection of the main themes inspired by the characters of the series. The music has been composed for «leitmotivs» and these are some of the themes that have had most success on television or on CD.

I have attempted to make these piano scores suitable for less experienced pianists. This is why I have also written in the pedals just as a guide for harmony, so more experienced pianists need only take notice of theses as they think fit. I have also written figured bass notations in case the player wishes to develop his own accompaniment.

I hope that these small pieces please both those who have followed the television series and those who have not seen it, and that they are played as music which is simple but written with the heart.
